Time is an illusion

Listening to: It's Not Over- Klaxons

Feeling: Not in control

At the moment time seems to be moving quicker than I am. Hence I was in trouble for being late back from Gym yesterday.
Apparently I had been gone one and half hour’s and my tea was being cooked on the basis of returning earlier. Nothing was spoiled and I apologised.
If I could claim it was because I was enjoying myself or making some real development I would probably have been more happy. As it is the session was hard and I spent most of the time in the ‘Advanced’ room dodging younger & fitter people and vying for use of equipment.

Allegedly perception of time is related to your heart/ brain activity. In younger/ fitter people, heart/ brain activity occurs more rapidly providing a stroboscopic effect, making time seem to last longer. As we get older heart/ brain activity slows down and we perceive time moving more rapidly. So I have concluded, due to increased activity, my perception at the time was nothing like the reality. Therein I rest my case for the defence…it’s over to you the jury.

Also have to confess, despite having decided to drink only pop on the evening, a bottle of red was opened for
the recipe …….so I finished the remainder. I have tried to console myself with the thought that Roman soldiers
drank wine all the time (and a lot more potent). However, they faced the thought of decimation (the random
killing of one in ten soldiers to demonstrate a willingness to die for the emperor). Would’nt you would probably try and cram as much drink , food and sex and anything else enjoyable into your day too?

The office conversation has now turned to what you would’ not do for £1 million. S said there’s probably not a lot but J came up with some like leaving the children, so S had to conceded that there were a few things.
Shame! I was just off to get a lottery ticket on the off chance lol.
On the subject of names, we were postulating why a lot of people use their middle names instead of their Christian names and the cruelty of parents in choosing names.
Now the conversation has turned to who have you met that’s famous, sadly we can all only admit to minor celebs (met as having been in close proximity to or talked to, not attending one of their concerts or the like).
OMG……. sex and the city eat you heart out, see how we pass the time, it’s all happening here. …. TFIF or TGIF

The lights just flashed off and on and the thunders rumbling, so I had better post this before we have a black out or something goes down.
At the risk of drying up, or more likely drying out, I wish you a happy weekend.
